Baker's Dozen 2008
The SHT compound
Aligning derailleur hangers, adjust gears, wipe chain-lube chain-wipe again, changing gear ratios, flat repairs, properly inflating tires to racer's preferred psi, rotor truing, and wheel truing were all apart of the game
I was actually very busy. In addition to my repair stand and beers, these are the tools I used the most.
The 2008 Baker's Dozen was a great time. I Would like to thank all the racer's I worked for. You guys really showed Virginia what our Delaware cycling community is made of! This weekend was a true test of my mechanical abilities under extreme pressure. Thank you SHT & C3 racers, for pushing me to the edge! I had a blast.

Mojo Internet Chatter
So the brown van dropped this off today at the SHT head quartersInside was my "new" XC/All Mountain bike. All I need to complete this masterpiece is the SDG I-Beam seat & post, which will be delivered by the same brown van, soon.
Had to SIC this bike out with the twisted all-mountain stem and SIC Race bar,1.5 rise, in Camo-Ano.
Wrenching for the SHT rider's this weekend @ the Baker's Dozen 13hr race, hopefully a trip to the Water Shed, and rotating sushi too!

Videos to watch while you ride the couch between rides
So I got my hands on Earthed 5: Law of Fives, directed by Alex Rankin, the other day. It follows the 2007 World Cup DH Series. Earthed 5 did a better job than Between the Tape, directed by Clay Porter, which followed the same series. Earthed 5 had the best riding footage, minimal racer interviews, and better music.
But, I still think Earthed 4: Death or Glory, which covers the 2006 World Cup DH Series, is the best video of all the Earthed videos.
All the videos mentioned above are available through finer bike shops. If they're not in the shop ask the shop employee to special order them through Quality Bike Products (QBP).

Shop Improvements
To kick off the 2008 cycling season Henry's Bikes spruced up the shop.
In the shop area we added metal roofing to the lower half of the wall to give it a more "industrial" look. We also added a fresh coat of white paint to the peg board and more over head lighting.
Since the "industrial" metal roofing looked sharp, we incorporated it onto the sales floor.
Buddy the Keg Breaker came in and installed our track lighting on the sales floor. Thanks Buddy!
